A few new things on the BBC site.  Michelle Gomez is going to be playing the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere - I'm fascinated already.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/doctorwho/articles/Michelle-Gomez-to-star-in-Doctor-Who

Frank Cottrell Boyce is going to be writing an episode that will be featuring a number of children. Apparently (I didn't know) he writes for children, but also write films such as 24 Hour Party People.

And episode 1 will be premiered in Cardiff on 7th August.

There's also a new teaser up, which includes the line "I see into your soul, Doctor". And I still can't remember how to embed videos here, so I'll just give you the link  Cry

I have no idea how to do it from the BBC on here (though I do on other sites!) so I shall turn to YouTube.

Here's the one you mentioned:

And here's an earlier one:

So I know the script leaks might be too severe for some people so let me just give some overall thoughts. Gentle spoilers if you will.

- If you liked Eccleston's "Dalek" episode, you will love episode 2.
- Capaldi will be a mix between 3 and the good parts of 6.
- Episode 4, "Listen", has some history about the Doctor, and could potentially be the new "Blink".
- Danny Pink has a very intriguing story line.

I'm pretty sure we are getting new opening credits too, with cogs and gears similar to this fan made one.

If anyone has any questions that they want to know but don't want to read the script I would be happy to answer them.

No worries.

Now there's news that rough cuts of episode 1 (and possibly two) are out there. Black and White and no cgi. Leaked from the same guy. So be weary.

The full series trailer aired at half time during tonight's World Cup Final. If, like me, you weren't watching you can catch it here:

No, I wasn't watching either, so thanks.  That's whetted my appetite even more.  Good to know he's going to have the obligatory new Doctor's run-in with the Daleks  Cool

There's an interview with Peter Capaldi on the BT news page (although there's no sign of it on the BBC site) where he talks about various aspects of the new series - including that the Doctor isn't going to be flirting with Clara.

I can't really remember other air times, but that sounds quite late compared to normal?  Shocked

It's hard to pin it down as it's never had a fixed slot. Some series have aired roughly around 7.30, some have been an hour or so earlier. Personally I think later is better.

7.50 is a little late, though only slightly.  Probably a good time, though I still can't quite shake the feeling that Doctor Who belongs at Saturday tea-time  Cool

Later is better for me, only cause sometimes when it was on at like 6ish it would always get in the way of dinner and stuff.
