First off, I'm not sure this is the right board for this thread, but I'm sure the Doc or one of the mods will set me right if it's not.
There are a lot of Doctor Who RPs on twitter and other sites, and sometimes they need people to play small, temporary characters.
This thread is for RPers to search for those temporary players. I'm not expecting it to take off but it's worth a try.
I'll get the ball rolling by asking for someone to play the Lord High President of the underwater planet of Atlantica.
Just tweet or DM me @x_TheDoctor_x or post a reply here if you are interested in the role.

I think it depends a little on which family you decide to join.
Some families have some pretty heavy RPs that newbie RPers can find intimidating. For that reason they tend to only invite people who have a long history in the RP universe.
Other families have a mixture of light and heavy RP stories, and will happily accept newbies as bit players only, saving the main players for pro RPers,
Still others have light RP stories and will accept RPers of varying levels of skill, for any character.
Find the right family, and RPing should be no more difficult than changing a lightbulb
