Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and The Doctor comes to call, everybody lives.

They are, but only for the first and last episodes. Got to do a bit of digging to find them, though.

Episode 1 got a 59 and episode 2 got a 60. Pretty good for the era.

Were they generally lower back then, then?

Anything between about 40 and 60 seems about average for the classics, but stories have been known to go either side of that.

It's usually around the lower end of that though, so this was actually rated quite highly.

I actually think they should get todays AI scorers to rewatch all the classics and re-rate them all. Then they could be scored a bit more fairly and more in comparison with todays stories.
