I've started and put down this book so many times, but recently I got to the end and I have to say it is absolutely amazing. I haven't seen the film, but I do intend to even though it seems to have not rated very well. The fact that it is a memoir is why I enjoyed it so much, I think. It's easy to write a story about someone and the effects that certain circumstances have on their lives, but to hear it straight from the horses mouth and know exactly how they changed, not only in their actions but how they have developed and changed in every aspect of their life, is really inspiring. Anyone read it? You should, if you haven't.

I saw the film and I enjoyed it, so I picked up the book a few weeks later, but I'm yet to read it. I've heard great things and there is a sequel too, apparently, so I have to get onto it before too long.

The book is great but the movie isn't so good. Julia Roberts rocks it, but the script is a bit naff.

This was given to me as a gift because I kept going on about wanting to read it and yet I've had it about 2 years now and it's still on the shelf. I must get around to it.
