Which 'post regen' story do you think has been the best, not so much in terms of story, but in how the Doctor reacts to his regeneration.

I've left out An Unearthly Child because the Doctor was already into his run and not newly regerated. I've also left off Rose because although the Doctor seems not to be familiar with his face, threads throughout the story show that he has been around at least a little while and been on some adventures (Titanic, etc) and so can't really say he was still in his regenerative state.

Not my favourite story of the bunch, but in terms of the actions of the Doctor, my vote has gone to Power of the Daleks/Second Doctor.

This whole thread seems really vague now I'm re-reading it. Hope everyone understands the point. It did make sense in my brain.

I haven't seen all of them (only seen 5 of them) but I've gone for Eleventh Hour.

For me, it was a straight fight between Spearhead From Space and The Eleventh Hour - close, but I've gone for TEH in the end.

I've only seen TCI and TEH, but I went for TEH. One of my favourite episodes!

Robot. It's not the best story but based on the question I think it was the best post-regen Doctor.

The Eleventh Hour. Seeing Eleven react to his regeneration, the scenes with Amelia in particular, was great.
