I like it fine now, at the time it drove me absolutely bonkers because it was on everywhere ... all the time!
I have vague memories of it when I was very little. I remember being on a coach somewhere with loads of people I know. We used to do street trips where everyone from the street would go away together for a weekend (perfect for burgularies) to places like Blackpool and Tenby and Whitby, and loads of the women getting up on the bus and singing it. Always makes me think of that when I hear it now. It's quite a repetative song though, so I can see why it would get annoying if repeated a lot.
