Can you think of any first or last occurances which occured throughout Ghost Light? Note them down in here and share them with the rest of the forum.

Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and The Doctor comes to call, everybody lives.

Also the last story to be made of the classic run, though not the last to air.

The two above were the only ones I knew. Well, not so much the BBC one, but the other one. I can't think of anything else.

The last story of the classic series (in running order) to be shot entirely in the studio.

If we narrow this down a bit further, the last ever scene to be filmed for the classic run is the one of Light turning Gwendoline and Mrs Pritchard to stone.

Also the last story to be made of the classic run, though not the last to air.

Why would they have filmed it at the end?

They didn't make the series in order then, just as they don't now.  It's probably because it's the only story in the series that's entirely studio-bound - the others all had a lot of outside filming, so they probably wanted to get that done first.
