I think a large part of why this story doesn't hold up so well with me is because I find the Krillitane to be really weak monsters. I don't like when the show relies too heavily on CGI because more often than not it doesn't work, and I think this is a strong example of such an instance.

I don't mind them.  They probably wouldn't hold up too well if they had to carry the story, but as I said elsewhere, it's not really the point of the episode.

They looked awful, but they didn't really have too much to do with the larger point of the story. I don't imagine we will see them again and I am fine with that.

Very poor CGI, but they served the purpose that they were meant to and that makes them good enough for me. They had so little a part that it could hardly go wrong and while I'm not in any way wanting their return, I don't think their appearance here was particularly bad.

I wasn't keen on them. I didn't like how they looked and I thought their intentions were a bit stupid.

I didn't mind them. They did the job and they weren't that bad to look at. Not the best villains we have ever seen but they could have been worse. And Tony Head was awesome.

And Tony Head was awesome.

Well, yes. But he always is in everything! I think he would have made an amazing Doctor, too! Or Master, for that matter. He does evil really well.
