They're having a series on BBC3 of Doctor Who: Greatest Monsters & Villains, which take the form of a brief intro followed by an episode featuring said monster/villain. In true BBC3 style, they've been overloading them all at once, so I've just been watching the intros on iPlayer, as I can watch the episodes anytime I like.
They appear to all be NuWho, or at least have appeared on NuWho, probably due to the format (needing a stand-alone 45 minute episode) which has skewed it to start with, and there are some odd omissions anyway. I mean, the Judoon are fun, but do they really beat the Sontarans, the Autons, the Zygons, Sutekh, the Toymaker and Omega?
Still, with its limitations, it's still good that it's on.

Yeah I've just iPlayered the intros too (partly because I was at work last night) - the guy is a smidge annoying, but it's good to have something DW on. I too noticed that it is skewed new series - I believe the vote was limited choice as well (if it's the one I think it was). Could've reflected the show's history better if it was a free vote. Still at least they did mention the previous appearances of the Silurians (I haven't seen tonight's yet!)

I watched "The Ultimate Guide" tonight - some good stuff in it (though I hadn't a clue who some of the talking heads were and why they were in it) but again it was very skewed to later Who, and especially NuWho. The section about the Master gave us a very brief montage of Masters, then spent the whole thing talking about the Saxon version, and the bit about the male companions ignored Ian, Jamie and the Brig (among others) in favour of Adam, for heaven's sake.
Still, what they covered was interesting.

A little implausibly, they discussed Doctor Who on the Daily Politics show, talking about the political elements in the show. Nothing in it that's news to fans, but interesting to watch. It's on iPlayer at http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03js4dj/Daily_Politics_21_11_2013/The "what's on today" at the beginning shows the spaceship crashing into Big Ben, but the actual section is at about 53 minutes.

The Afterparty was fun, if chaotic - though an upside to the chaos was that we didn't get much of One Direction Great to see all those people - the one I really didn't recognise at first was Caitlin, but then I suppose it would be about four years since she did The Eleventh Hour. That's a lifetime of growing up at that age.
