The Tenth Doctor was the tenth incarnation of the renegade Time Lord known as the Doctor. Unlike his immediate predecessor, who was plagued by melancholy due to his actions during the Last Great Time War, this incarnation was much more outgoing and genial, a demeanour that hid the "survivor's guilt" that had plagued him since the war. Over his life, however, the weight became much more pronounced. He was haunted by companions lost, enemies believed long-dead and events that threatened the fabric of time itself. He met his end after he absorbed a huge quantity of nuclear radiation whilst saving the life of his friend, Wilfred Mott, leading to his regeneration into his next incarnation.

I love Ten, but this episode showed that Donna could more than carry it on her own and I think that it was stronger without him in it so much.

I agree. Didn't miss him at all.

Not a lot to say about this one really because he was hardly in it. Sometimes when we have Doctor-lite episodes they suffer because of this, but this one didn't. Donna and Wilf carried it well without him.

Like everyone else has said, it was better without him. Or at least, didn't suffer from his absense.

I wouldn't say it was better without him, because the stories with him in are good too, but I don't think this suffered by having him not in it so much. On the flipside, Midnight, which didn't feature much of Donna, really lacked her, I thought, and would have been better with her in it.
