Of all the Torchwood members we have seen over the years, who has been your favourite and why? I have started the votes and I went with Toshiko. She had a great, well rounded story and was one of the most likeable characters on the show. I loved them all, but Tosh edges it for me. Also thought Johnson was a badass and should make a comeback. Your turn

I went for Suzie - and that may sound a little odd considering she's in only 2 eps. However, I thought her character was actually pivotal to the distancing of TW from DW. The incorporation of such a flawed character set clear blue water between the shows and after seeing her debut you knew you were watching something a little different.
Tosh was very close - i thought she was amazing also. Owen went silly - with all that dead stuff. And Gwen... oh Gwen. I know how important she was meant to be but i didn't really gel with her (perhaps my weakness rather than hers).
Jack is simply wonderful - he transcends TW & DW

I agree completely about Suzie. She was brilliantly played and I both hated and loved that she blew her skull open. Gutted she didnt come back in series 2. Like having a baby is that important!!!

Gwen. No questions. Gwen is like Lara Croft from Wales, but with added cool. I would love a Gwen Cooper movie, computer game, sticker book...the lot.

Good to see support for Gwen here! She is the favourite for me every time.

*is shocked by the Gwen love* I remained faithful to the one-line-quipper, who is organised, knows what you need before you do, can make a fantabulous cup of coffee and caught thousands of peoples love. Ianto! (Hey! I didn't say he shouldn't have died!) But seriously, he had the serious role, the love role, the comedy role, the reliant role, the provider, the hidden self role...etc etc (countless)

*is shocked by the Gwen love* Makes for a nice change from the rest of the internet. XD I do like all the characters. In my own corner of the internet and my RP accounts, I prefer to stay loyal to Gwen. I've worked pretty well with my Torchwood team members where I play Gwen, including Jack, Ianto, Tosh and Owen. There's other RPs and fanfics where Jack and Ianto are the focus, and that's fine. But if I'm going to read something about Torchwood, I prefer the story to treat Gwen fairly, no matter who is the main focus of the piece.

I have to admit, one of things that has tainted my view of Ianto is the fans. Not the average fans, but the crazy ones who abuse you for mentioning his name, spend 18 hours a day tweeting Starz and the BBC saying they will boycott the show if he isnt ressurrected and claim that Ianto was molested and raped by jack and all that sort of crap. Its a minority I know, but its now what I associate with Ianto

I know I was annoyed and shocked but I understand why RTD did it but it is his character and he had reached a good ending unlike the others.... Plus we had 4 episodes to come to terms with his death before it happened
