My bad, I didn't clock the original thread, sorry!!

Now, I liked that, but I'd still prefer if they took the prom & live tour concepts, made a wibbley wobbley timey wimey mash up & sweet-talked/bribed all the living Doctors to appear in a scripted Albert Hall adventure IN CHARACTER & COSTUME.

I'm nerdgasming overboard here, but I just thought the concept would be too crazy to pass up.
Look at the reaction an 11 Doctor montage got - it was amazing.

So, put together some sort of time distortion-ey storyline, use audio & maybe video of 1-3 to start off, throw in some companions & old monsters & SHAZAM! BBC makes a mint & we all go home happy.

Am I geeking out too much here, or should the BBC just gimme the job?

I would say you were geeling out just enough. I think it is a great idea. And a great way to have a big extravaganza with all the Doctors, without people moaning that it breaks canon, or they dont look the same or whatever

Yeah I was there! By the time we got though the only tickets were right at the top as restricted view! But it really didn't spoil it! It was a great evening! =)

I was so impressed with this years show. The little boy MS pulled out of the audience had me in stitches. And Matt was quick thinking with his improv. I would have loved to have been 6 or 7 years old and attending that. It would have blown my mind

It was deffinately worth waiting to watch again for the extra half hour. If there is another one next year I am making sure that I get tickets. I want to be there and experience it

I know what you mean - it's goosebump central!
Absolutely spellbinding moment I thought, even if it meant seeing the dreadful dispatching of 7 again.

Im being lazy and pasted this from the news site...

BBC America have announced that this years Doctor Who Proms will be played out across the country on Christmas Day, so it is shaping up well for fans in the US who will be getting a double treat as this year's Christmas Special will also air on the same day.

The proms took place this last July at the Royal Albert Hall in London and were hosted by Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill. No times have been announced yet but we will update as soon as we know.
