So with the July prom being shown on TV next week I thought I'd get some opinions on how people found/find it. Either listening to it on Radio 2, or if you were there or if you're going to watch it on BBC 3 on Monday? So how did people find it?

Its a shame they have cut it down to 60 minutes, but apparantly there are a lot of behind the scenes and bonus stuff if you 'press red'

Yeah, it is a shame... I was there, and the whole concert was getting on for 2 hours, so I'm interrested to know what they've cut out!

ah no! I hope not, that was the best bit! With any luck they'll cut out the "classical"- non doctor who music, and just leave the Doctor Who music in, although that would still take longer than an hour! =\ Undecided

What do you think the chances are of them ever showing it on BBC America.  I am guessing slim to none Sad

I'd forgotten this is to be shown on tv Smiley  How odd to have two different time slots for each showing or am I missing something? Huh?

Just a reminder to people that BBC3 are showing this years Doctor Who Proms at 8.30 this evening. The event was hosted by MAtt Smith, Arthur Darvill and Karen Gillan and features a host of monsters as well as an appearance from the Doctor.

The night starts with Doctor Who's Greatest Moments: The Enemies at 7pm, followed by a showing of the series 5 finale, The Big Bang, at 7.30pm

A longer version, with an extra 30 minutes of footage, will be shown on Friday at 7pm. Viewers can also press the red button to access behind the scenes exclusives, with 25 minutes of back stage footage.

Just me, or was that 10 regenerations (well, technically 9) montage absolutely CRACKING?

Loved it.
Was wondering why it suddenly went quickly through regens after 2, then I realised they were basically giving it to DT.
Thought the roof was gonna come off when he appeared.

I miss DT.

How's everyone enjoying it?
