I loved it.  A few quibbles, but I thought it was excellently done.  The kids were pretty good - not quite Amelia standard, but definitely not Chloe Webber standard either.

Probably a 4 or 5, but I'm going to wait till I've watched it again.

Eurgh. Horrible. I can see how some might like it more so I won't give it a 1. A 2, then, but a low 2.

I give it a 2 as well. It was about nothing. Literally, in the entire episode, basically nothing happened. It meandered about for about 40 minutes, during which the Doctor literally gave up and was about to leave before everything sort of just solved itself and everyone went on their way. Oh and a child who inexplicably disappeared that had absolutely 0 to do with the "story" when she was missing magically re-appeared as well.

Add to that Clara acting just as out of character the entire time as the Doctor, and you've got the makings of a real ****-poor episode. The only thing keeping me from rating it down with the likes of Fear Her, Love and Monsters, and End of Time is the fact that the child actors didn't make me spit bile and curse. But it was a close thing.

Interesting how this one seems to have totally polarised us.

Happens to me too sometimes. Hated The Caves of Androzani and Dalek, loved The Creature from the Pit.

Whoops, was so unimpressed with this ep I forgot about it immediately and didn't vote on it last week!  I gave it a 2.  Definitely not one I'd rewatch.

The trailer for next week's look awesome though!  Are we at the finale already?!  Are we short one episode this year?  With the 2 part finale coming up, we're only getting 12 rather than the usual 13 episodes!   Sad

Yes, I noticed that when the series was announced, though no-one actually mentioned it officially.
