I loved it. Obviously it's impossible to judge a 2-parter for certain till you've seen it all, but on the basis of what was on today nothing less than a five will do. The whole thing was fascinating, and the ending really blew me away. And wonderful to see Cybermen marching down the steps of St Pauls again. Can't wait till next week.

4 from me. It was ok, but I've seen better first parts of 2 parter episodes

The individual parts were good but I'm not sure the whole thing held together all that well. I'm not really sure what the point of Dr. Chang and that stuff about the dead talking is related to the rest, but maybe it will all come together in the second part. Loved the idea that instead of the Cyberman deleting people's emotions etc. people could be persuaded to delete themselves. The performances were all great (I especially enjoyed Chris Addison's turn). So despite some misgivings about whether it will all hold together, I'll go for a 4.

Loved it! 5 from me. Didn't see Missy being the Master coming, though once she explained her name it was pretty obvious!
I am very confused about the phone call in the beginning though. What's with all the sticky notes? They were all adventures she's had with the Doctor obviously, but one of them said "Courtney becomes president"! And notes like "lying" and "just say it". And the very weird conversation with Danny, and the weird noises coming out of the phone when Danny was hit (not of a skidding car or screams) but static?? Her line to Danny, "I love you, and you're the last person who's ever gonna hear me say that" (or something to that effect) was extremely odd. Something very not right about that scene.
Oh, one more thing - if the Doctor can open the TARDIS with a snap of his fingers, why did Clara think that destroying the keys would prevent him from getting in?

You know, I never thought of that. Though I can't recall seeing this Doctor doing it.
