Saying that though, I heard the Shameless remake that aired last week went down very well so you never know...?
I think with Being Human though, none of the actors look like they quite fit. It will be interesting to see how it does |

Oh I didnt realise it was tomorrow. I will have to get a download of that then to see how it shapes up. Like most people in here though I don't hold out a huge amount of hope that it will be very good

I've seen the sneak peeks of the US version, it reminded me of a kooky Friends, much lighter in tone. Aiden (the vamp) can also erase people's minds, which makes me think the big ole reset button is a cheap get out clause  I'm going to be giving it a go, but I can't really see Jacob from Lost being half as good in the Herrick role. Nor anyone being as subtly brilliant as Tovey, Turner and Crichlow; they all just bring something to the characters that I don't see in the new guys. |

Been reading some reviews that have come out tonight about the Syfy remake. None of them seem to be loving it, thou on the whole they aren't too bad. Quite a few are calling it soap opera like, and think the characters are lacking a little.

I am going to DL this later to see if it is any good. From what I hear the cast haven't been well received but I will judge for myself and see

I was going to watch a stream for it, but then remembered I'm starting a Sons of Anarchy watch tonight with a couple of online buddies so I'll have to wait until 2mrw to see what it's like. I'm hoping that it will be good, just different, if that makes sense lol

Couldn't sleep so I just watched the first and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. A few niggles but it was generally very good; very different style thou, it doesn't feel like the same show at all.
