Oh, I hadn't heard that. It's a shame, but I think it can still work. As long as Kelly is staying put.

I don't think I managed to get past episode 2. I'm so used to downloading stuff and watching in bulk or on American schedules that I find it really hard to tune in each week to a certain schedule. The same happened with Being Human.

Mm I get that! The only reason I managed to keep up was because me and my friends made an evening of it each Sunday.

When we were back home and not at uni for the final episode, I didn't see the final ep till weeks after which says it all lol

I'm the same. I hate having to tune in for things at a specific time. I havent seen the last of this latest series either, but I will get around to it soon.

I also didn't know about the above spoiler. It's a shame but I don't think it will make a huge deal. Especially on her part.

I can't believe I only just found this show. I'm addicted. I'm on episode 3.7 now so only one more to go before I get up to date. I thought the first two series were good but the third one has been superb. I've been watching for about 3 days so hadn't got very attatched to the characters when Nathan went but I didn't think Rudy would work, then he ended up being excellent so I'm not too worried about Alisha and Simon going.

You've been missing out. It took me ages to get around to the third season for some reason but when I did it was awesome. Best season so far, definately. It's a shame about Alisha and Simon but their stories became so personal that they are done now and so I don't think the show will lose out by having them leave. Stuff about the new characters was released this week. I'll spoiler it, but it's nothing particularly spoilery.
3 new characters will be coming to Misfits for the fourth season. A casting call went out for: "... Jess is a kind of female version of Larry David – smart and articulate, She’s the person who will say the un-sayable, the person who’ll question social norms and etiquette. Jess hates people who bullshit and lie to her. ... Finn has a childlike naively optimistic view of life, he’s always eager to please and enthusiastic about life. Finn talks a lot and often uses this to try and talk himself out of difficult or awkward situations. He is very funny. ... Alex is the sexiest guy on the estate. He is super good looking, all the girls fancy him but for some reason he is very standoffish, he doesn’t seem interested in girls. Everyone reads this as being extremely suspicious and suspect it’s power related.”
I finally watched the third season a few weeks back. I wish I hadn't put it off so long. It was brilliant. I agree with Ex that Alisha and Simon had run their course. I wasn't so sure before watching but adter that finale everything felt tied up and so I'm not so bothered about them going. I think Seth is being made a regular and with three new characters the show will be fine, I'm sure.

I've only just found out that Kelly isn't coming back. I'm gutted!

Sort of ironic really though given the apparant reasoning.

Ah because she was violent/racist and had to do community service? The irony is delicious.

A real shame though, Kelly was awesome.

With only one original character left (who I think will probably also drop out before long) I think they will have to work really hard to keep this show afloat.

Yeah, I haven't seen it yet either, though I've read some stuff about it. Not sure it did as well as in previous years.

That's surprised me. The ratings and reception for the last series was pretty poor I'd heard.

What's happening with this show now. Is it coming back? I still haven't watched the last season and I've heard mixed reviews and that ratings were down. With so many changes I'd just assumed it had quietly faded out, but are they going to make more?

One more season then that's it.

The last series wasn't great IMO. I'll watch it to the end now, but I've not really taken to the new characters & have never gelled with Rudy at all - Nathan was as crude as he is, but I always found something to like in him. Rudy - meh!

I agree about Rudy. And the last season in general. It was such a good show but I think it'll go out on a bit of a whimper which is a shame
