This is by far my favorite show outside the Whoniverse. It even beats the Whoniverse sometimes.

If you've seen it, post here. If you haven't, go watch, and post here  Grin

I like it!  It's kinda like Monk...I especially like the fact that Shawn is half-mexican in real life.

Its found its own identity past Monk now.

Is it a spinoff then? I saw an episode of Monk but didn't really like it

Nope. Just kind of carved out of the same vein.

A quirky detective solving cases...

I couldn't remember his name!

Yeah, me too most definitely but that was the main reason that I started watching it, because it reminded me of Monk...

Monk has a sort of dry humor that doesn't appeal to everyone...But I still loved and was sad when it was over.

Me too.

Psych is much more "modern". And if you were an 80's child, or like the 80's or understand 80's references, you will love the show.  Grin

Must admit, I loved the psych-outs they did at the start.
I think they may have stopped doing them though?

No, they still do them, although they are a bit more staged now than they used to be.

Im not sure what to make of it to be honest. I think I did something wrong with the download because it said 'pilot' but it didnt seem like a pilot episode. It was at a school reunion. Anyway, some parts of it were really good, but other bits seemed kinda slapstick and not very funny. I liked the black guy, cant remember his name, and the rubbish psychic guy was ok but the other characters didnt seem that likeable from what I saw.

However, all of that could be because I was watching from somewhere in the middle and so didnt get the characters and plot properly, so if that wasnt the pilot I will give it another go fro the start sometime
