My friend just text me saying she read online that the next Adventure Game is being released in December, will feature the Sea Devils and will be called Shadows From The Deep. I text back asking where she read it and Im waiting for a reply. The return of The Sea Devils should make a lot of fans very happy. Ive never seen them on screen personally, but I look forward to it if its true. I love returning villains.

The return of the Sea Devils could be potentially great. If this is true then perhaps it is paving the way to bring them back on screen

I agree. TARDIS was awful. Yay to Sea Devils though Smiley

Yea, TARDIS has been the weakest of the bunch so far. For me, they could have had infinate possibilities within their confines, but it was underused, the villain was crap and the game was way too short.

I didnt mind TARDIS. I didnt really have any expectations so had nothing to be dissapointed by. It was a bit short though. I am excited for the new one now. I dont know who the Sea Devils are, but I am sure they will be just as great Tongue

I have to agree with the others, TARDIS fell way short for me compared to the others. Im hoping they go out with a bang.

Also, Rory best be in next years games or I shall be a very angry bunny Tongue

Is there any word in when the new ones will be released? I'd imagine probably in the gap between the series halves next year but it doesn't seem like much of a gap. Is there still 4 being released?

As far as I know there will be another 4, yea. They will also have more characters in them so I am hoping that Rory and River get a look in

Any news on this yet? They were supposed to be monthly but it took ages for TARDIS to get a release now it seems even longer for this one

Turns out its called Shadows Of The Vashta Nerada and not Shadows From The Deep, and will be available on Christmas Day. I cant link as the article has been taken down, but this is a bit of what it said....

"This Christmas Day, Doctor Who fans are in for an extra special treat, as the BBC will release the fourth and final episode in this series of the ground-breaking Doctor Who: The Adventure Games immediately following the BBC One and BBC HD broadcast of the Christmas special.

The game will be available for UK households on PC and Mac as a free download from the Doctor Who website www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho

Entitled ‘Shadows of the Vashta Nerada’, this fourth episode sees the first appearance of Steven Moffat’s brilliantly original monsters since their debut in Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead

Executive produced by Steven Moffat and written by Doctor Who writer Phil Ford (Shadows of Mars, Torchwood), the game sees the return of Matt Smith and Karen Gillan in digital form – as the Doctor and Amy face their biggest adventure yet.

Kicking off immediately following the cliff-hanger ending of episode three, Shadows of the Vashta Nerada sees The Doctor and Amy materialise just south of London (and about a 1000 miles to the left) inside an aquatic sea-bed colony called Poseidon. The game features a breath-taking plot which surrounds a real-world conspiracy – and, of course, takes place at Christmas. . ."

This picture is apparantly a promo, but it looks fake to me. Ive changed the title of the thread to match Smiley

Could be good if its about stealth and avoiding shadows and stuff, but having a villain you cant really see could be a bit boring. Anything has to be better than TARDIS though, eh?

Sounds good to me. I think Moff would have been a bit more choosy about a story featuring one of his more famous villains so it should be good. Better than TARDIS anyway

Perhaps Moff vetoed the Ice Warriors because they will be coming up in series 6 or seven.....? Tongue
