The only significant fact that I can remember about Jaws 3 was that Dennis Quaid chain smoked throughout the making of it -both on and off screen- much to the cast/production teams amusement. It wasn't the issue it is now of course but I remember seeing an out take where the latter played a practical joke on Quaid during the shooting of a particularly tense scene. For once he didn't have a cigarette in his hand but every other person on and off the set did  Grin  Needless to say it had to be shot again Roll Eyes

The first movie was the best  Cool

I was not aware of that fact!

Wonder if it was the stress of being the lead, or the humiliation of being in Jaws 3-D!

Quaid never struck me as the stressful type - I put it down to that he liked smoking  Tongue  Grin

Jaws 3 is ok, but I'm a shark geek, so very forgiving with them.

I think 3 has some good ideas, and acting, but is ultimately let down by the awful sharks used & the print quality for the 3-D gimmick

Plus, Orca 1 - Shark 0.

I have only seen the first film because I have always heard that the rest are terrible.  I am not a shark geek but I am a cetacean geek so I loved the footage of the Orca and the Sharks.  Thanks for that!  I do know a bit about sharks so I am forgiving of them as well Smiley  Maybe not forgiving of Jaws: the Revenge though!

I don't think anyone can forgive Jaws: The Revenge.

That film always makes me sad, because of the terrible story of the wee girl in it & how she was killed not long after filming.
Truly a sad tale.
