The stories to be released in the second edition of the revisitations box set have been revealed and will contain the Third Doctor story Carnival of Monsters, which was recently used as a launch pad story for the Doctor Who Live Tour, the Fifth Doctor story Ressurection of the Daleks and the Second Doctor story The Seeds Of Death.

The thing I dont like about sets like these, is that when they are released you cant find the single stories anywhere, so you are forced to buy all three if you want even just one.

Not a bad collection, but there are far better stories that they could have used and ones that we havent already got

The BBFC has recently passed a rating of (U) on the following which is apparantly an 'Extras Disc' for Carnival Of Monsters, which makes me think it might be getting a re-release

•DESTROY ALL MONSTERS! (THE MAKING OF CARNIVAL OF MONSTERS) (FEATURETTE)
•ON TARGET - IAN MARTER (FEATURETTE)
•PHOTO GALLERY
•THE A TO Z OF GADGETS & GIZMOS (FEATURETTE)
•MARY CELESTE AND OTHER MARITIME MYSTERIES (FEATURETTE)

And a new invision commentary with Peter Halliday, Cheryl Hall and Katy Manning.

I'd bet that it will get a special release that includes the Doctor Who Tour, as that was a loose sequel to this story. It was previously released in 2002.

Good catch. I love this story but my DVD is a bit jumpy so I actually for once would welcome a rerelease, especially if it has new bonus stuff

I don't mind getting the rereleases if there is a considerable amount of new extras and this is getting an extra disc so it should be good

You can ignore the above post with the picture. I should have double checked about the re-release. Its already been anounced, so I have no merged it into this one Smiley

And on that note, Resurrection Of The Daleks will also get a second disc full of extras that have been certified as (U) by the BBFC

Ooooh, thanks for these PP - I do like these covers very much. Do I like them enough to splash out the money on DVDs that I already have got though?
