The BBC have confirmed that we will be getting a sneak peak of the christmas special during this years telethon. There is no news at the moment about how long it is or anything like that, but I am hoping that we will get the name of it then. I also hope that it isnt Father Who or A Christmas Carol Cheesy

Oh yay. This is great news. I wonder what we will see. Didnt they film something specially for it one time? Might they be doing that again or will it just be a couple scenes?

It's just a preview, thou I'm hoping for a couple of minutes of it.  They have done new scenes before, they are all on You Tube if you do a search.  With the extra stuff filmed for the boxset, the Live Tour and all the hopping over to America this year they prob haven't had time Sad

Yea I agree. Its probably just the opening scene or something. Or maybe something not too revealing from the middle of the episode

I would rather a snippet than a specially filmed scene anyway. Waiting until christmas is never fun but you are less likely to be dissapointed by a minutes material than by a special mini episode that might end up being a bit crap

We don't even have a confirmed official title yet. We have a 98% idea, sure. But it hasnt been confirmed via a press release or anything.

So really anything from the episode will be better than what we have now.

Presumably it'll be the pre titles bit.

Pity they couldn't do a special scene, Time Crash was legendary.
The bridging clip for Parting of the Ways/Xmas Invasion was quite good too.

And let's never forget....Dimensions in Time!!

Actually...yeah...I didn't think that through  Undecided

Perhaps you wont have to wait too long until the name conversations are over, even if it isnt revealed at CIN.

The Christmas Doctor Who Special will be previewed at the British Film Institute on the 13th December and will include a Questions & Answers session with the cast and crew

I'd say by midnight on that day we will have a pretty fair idea of what the plot, name and everything else is

I thought Dimensions In Time was quite fun. Could never take it seriously but it was ok for what it was I guess

Bless Wogan, must be the only regular gig he gets now, or does he still do Eurovision, lol.  Have to admit that we usually record it and start watching an hour or 2 in so we can wizz thru the links and crap acts Tongue  I hope Being Human do a piece this year too, a SJA turn would be awesome too, esp as it seems to be getting more publicity these days.

Such a shame that Rusty didn't get a chance to do a small piece for the Who lot, I think a lot of people would have enjoyed that.

The last SJA skit for CIN got over 8 million viewers so it would be well worth it for the show. As for Wogan, he quit EV 2 years ago. Graham Norton does it now

Haha, just remembered the two Rani's joke that Corbett said during the last SJA sketch, bloody hilarious XD
