It looked like he was going to go for it at first. Oh well, at least he didn't push her away, and he did seem to enjoy it!
Hopefully we'll get at least another snog this season.
I can only imagine in her future (his past) how hard it is for her to see him, how strong she has to be to retain her composure. Associating with the Doctor has really messed up her life, moreso than most companions. And even as she's about to die she wouldn't change a thing.
