Ultimate Regeneration is the title of the first book from the people behind the Kasterborous website, Written and edited by Christian Cawley, the book tells the real-time critical story of the Russell T Davies era of Doctor Who.
Featuring essays, articles, reviews and interviews, the full story is put into context with a running commentary on the main events in Doctor Who news and fandom.
Including 60 Doctor Who reviews from Rose to The End of Time, Part Two, over 30 articles including character, actor and writer profiles, Ultimate Regeneration tells the full story of the 2005-2010 era of Doctor Who, covering 2 Doctors, 5 companions and one visionary showrunner.I expect most of what is contained in this book will be well known to most fans, but the essays and profiles should be worth the read and its going for £9.99 if you preorder

Sounds intriguing - I wonder how this will add anything to 'The Writers Tale' and the various Confidential episodes. Perhaps this will benefit from a bit of distance from the production team and of all of the contemporary websites, I found Kasterbourous perhaps the most accessible, until a man who goes by the name of Doc decided to set up The Doctor in the Tardis

I hate to come and be the negative one, but I just can't see what could be in this book that would be new and I would be skeptical that perhaps an awful lot of it would be lifted from The Writers Tale. Its a very saturated market as it is, and I would worry that this is perhaps just a cash in.

I think you are probably right Roranicus. Its not a bad website, but from what I have read on there they dont have any more insider knowledge than the average site, so it will probably just be their take on things, which isnt worth 15 quid
