It may not be obvious to everyone what the role of the moderators is so this post is designed to clear that up.
Our responsibilities include:
Stepping in when one of the rules has been broken, following the guidelines laid out in 'What happens when a rule is broken' - we may notice the problem ourselves but it would help if you could alert us to any we may miss (see section on 'Reporting issues to the moderators.')
Making sure threads don't go too far astray from their original topic - we will do this by clearly saying 'Back on topic guys.'
Helping you with any problems you may have - if whichever one of us you speak to cannot help you we will hand you or your problem over to someone who can.
Overseeing their area(s) of responsibility:
The Tardis Help Centre - PopRockGeek
Mission To The Unknown - Saber & PopRockGeek
The Silence - Joshua
The Invasion Of Time - Peri-Peri & VampyrosAdric
The Hub/Inside The Attic/K9 - HannahCole93 & Roranicus
76 Totters Lane - VampyrosAdric & Peri-Peri
The Long Game - HannahCole93
Paradise Towers - PopRockGeek & HannahCole93
Satellite Five - Joshua
The Myth Makers - Mel42, PandoricaPond, Hyacathusarillistad, MissAdric2 & Mind_Robber
Keeping the forum tidy, i.e removing duplicate posts & threads, splitting topics where necessary, etc.
Joining in the fun with everyone else - if we post in black we are posting as a member. However, if we post in navy blue we have our mod hats on & you need to heed what has been said.
The key thing is us mods are bound by exactly the same rules as all of you, the only difference is we have a few extra responsibilities.
If you believe one of us has broken a forum rule let somebody know - you can do this by sending a PM raising your concern to the mod in question, one of the other mods or The Doc. We should be held to account for it just as you would be & we are only human - we are going to make mistakes!
Hope that helps. If you need anymore clarification let me know by PM
