From what I have seen and read and heard, I think that this upcoming series of Torchwood is going to be brilliant, but I rewatched COE this week and I can't help wishing still that Lois and Johnson were coming back. I think they would have made amazing Torchwood members. Lois was so resourceful and brave and Johnson was just total badass. I don't know how Miracle Day will play out, but I can imagine it would have been even more awesome if those two were in it also. Do you think they missed an opportunity?

I remember watching CofE and thinking that Lois would be great for a permanent role - I could really see her as part of the team. Yeah I think it's a shame & a missed opportunity that she at least is not coming back.

Yea she was sort of a mash up of Martha and Tosh (which I think was what they were going for anyway) and she worked so well with the others. I think she would have fit right in

I loved Johnson. I thought she would have made a brilliant Torchwood member, but I think it probably wouldn't have happened because in some respects she would just have been another Gwen. Lois too would have been another great addition to the team.

I think that if the show had gone back to episodic format or even if it didn't, but it had remained in the UK, we probably would have seen them again

It's hard to say if it would have been any good because we never got the chance, but I personally would have loved to have seen Johnson and Lois come back for another series
