I think what makes this ep is that everything goes to hell due to one, single Dalek. One. They are THAT dangerous. You rarely get that feeling later, especially when Donna goes all supernova and tips them over like a teenager doing cow tipping in country fields. Tongue One of the many reasons why I hated that stupid finale.

I don't know where everyone is in the ep, but I'm more than halfway through I think. Kinda have to, stupid 4pm appt.

The whole Adam thing was worth it just for his mothers clicky fingers at the end of his second episode. Made it all worthwhile Tongue

About half of that ep was the very first I saw in the new series, and I had NO clue wtf I was watching until the Doctor was chained up and he introduced himself. I remember that it reminded me of a British version of Lexx, SO strange. Couldn't stop watching tho, loved it!

Agreed. He WAS intelligent; he just had no common sense, is all. Thought with the wrong bits of his brain and neglected the rest. Tragedy, really.

In all the eps they're shown that way, though.
