It took me ages to summon up the courage to watch this again after experiencing the very first episode. All that mucking around with eyes Shocked Can't get enough of it now. Wink

Anyone else into the House/Cuddy/Wilson love triangle? Tongue

I absolutely hate this show. I tried and tried but I just couldnt take to it. The character, stories, pacing, everything about it just felt totally wrong, forced and contrived. My other half thinks its great but I wont be watching again

Hugh is great in this, it has to be said.
Love Wilson, LOVE Huddy!
But...I know exactly what TDD means - for me, everything with Foreman, Taub & Chase feels very forced & not very good.
Foreman in particular. I really can't stand the character. He's just a tool.

They just took the mickey out of this show in the Family Guy episode I am watching.

Have to say, for all the reasons stated above, I am not a fan of this show either. I heard rave reviews and expected much more, but it just wasnt good imo

Well...that's you 3 crossed off my christmas card list Tongue

I get what you're all saying and up to a point agree. I however just love the dynamics/humour - both make up for any shortcomings. And over ride my fear of blood and guts surprisingly Undecided

This has been renewed for an 8th Season, though rumours abound that it will be without Lisa Edelstein who plays Cuddy.

Yeah, apparently the studio (Fox - shocker) finally said they wanted budget cuts - dunno why seeing as they went on a cancellation spree the other week - and seems Cuddy is the victim of it, although Jesse Spencer hasn't signed a new contract yet, I believe.

I just wish the makers would stop devoting so much time to Taub.
He's a total non character, just a smug little hobbit who adds nothing to the show, but gets waaay too much plot time.

PS - the latest ep (2nd to last for S7) was GROSS!!!!!!!!!

It was like watching Saw!

Ok just watched it. Yuk! That scene in the bathroom  Lips Sealed - I was standing up doing the ironing at the time & my leg went numb just watching it. Made me feel quite ill.

I've got to admit that although on the whole I still enjoy the show there have been a couple of eps this year that I really haven't liked all that much. This being one of them  Undecided

(deep breath)
Ok, I watched the series 7 finale last night.

To say I was angry at the end was an understatement.

I won't spoil anything - although everyone is talking about what happened - but I honestly felt cheated watching this.

It may possibly be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

David Shore is an absolute idiot for putting together a finale like this.

I tried and tried to like this show, but every time I watch it it winds me up. There is something about Hugh Laurie that I just don't like I think and the other characters aren't all that likeable.

Fox have announced that House will finish at the end of the current (8th) Season - they are saying it's not a cancellation just a series coming to a natural conclusion.

Can't say I'm surprised & honestly not that bothered. Some episodes just haven't been up to scratch for a while - like they are running out of ideas. Probably should have finished a couple of years ago really.
