Over the last 47 years the Doctor has appeared to us with eleven different faces, each bringing with it a brand new personality while still continuing to be the same time travelling adventurer that we all know and love. We all have our favourites and we all remember the first we ever saw but in a show that has spanned such a long length of time not everybody has had the chance to aquaint themselves with all his incarnations.

Throughout the years the Doctor has taken us all along with him on his adventures and we have witnessed him as he has battled aliens, saved planets, defended the Earth and touched the lives of just about every person he has ever come into contact with and so here is a tribute to the timelord with the many faces.

Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and The Doctor comes to call, everybody lives.

Such a lovely video. Loads of great clips in there and every Doctor was shown equally. We really have been treated to some amazing talent in this show

Wonderful compilation - it makes me want to break it down frame by frame and try to identify every clip.  I think I recognised about a third of them without having to think about it.  And I loved the way that last pan through the caricatures just broke off with the implication of more to come.
