Tag Games have teamed up with BBC Worldwide to create a brand new Doctor Who game for the iPhone/iPod/iPad! The project will be released this Christmas on iTunes and has been written by Oli Smith who also penned the latest Wii games. Hopefully this time he didnt get to do the graphics too

I still havent played the Nintendo games but I do intend to give them a go. I think this one will be worth a look. People cant really moan about a 59 pence game for a phone, though they will probably find a reason

UK developer Tag Games has landed a coup, signing a deal with BBC Worldwide to launch an official Doctor Who game for iPhone and iPad.
The game, which is expected to launch before Christmas, will allow fans to play as the Doctor and as his current assistant Amy Pond.
"Doctor Who is the UK's number one science fiction property, and I think it is in the BBC's top three for worldwide sales, so it is great to bring it to Dundee — especially in light of what happened at Realtime Worlds and the effect it had on Dundee," Tag's Robert Henning tells The Courier.
It's the latest sign of UK broadcasters putting more investment into apps. Tag has also worked with Channel 4 on the official app for Come Dine With Me. SourceWhy not for all smart phones

The game will see the Doctor and Amy race through time to help defend an innocent family against a rogue Dalek.
Confirmed locations include an Incan temple, the frozen tombs of Telos and a Dalek ship, as well as appearances from Cybermen and Silurians.
Players must adopt stealth to avoid sentries and will require the unique abilities of both the Doctor and Amy to solve over 100 puzzles.

I agree about the graphics. It seems a lot better than what we have seen of the other ones. I dont know if thats because of the resolution or because its just generally better but with all the money that went into the Nintendo games this makes them look pretty ****

This game will apparantly have a section set in an Incan temple that has been infested with Cybermen. It will also feature the Doctor and Amy trying to save a family who have been trapped in time by the Daleks
