Ooh The Proms!!! I really want them on DVD but ... I was going to hang on & see if the Christmas special was in the S6 box set. But then will the Proms be if it is?! This needs thought!

I have a feeling that the Christmas Special will be on Series 6 Part 1 boxset, though possibly not the Complete Series 6 Box Set, which will REALLY annoy me!

That wouldnt surprise me at all. When it comes to DW, they always seem to have a way of getting the extra money out of fans

Don't think it's unique to DW - most franchises milk the fans. It's a variation on the circle of life theme. Cheesy

Think I'll be doing what I usually do and that's sit back... see what emerges....and put my money where I get what I consider is its worth. Smiley

If its not on the box set I will just do without. Im not going to buy a 'part 1' box set just to get that episode when all the other sets I have are the seasonal ones. I know im a stingy **** but times are hard Tongue

The other one is better, but I can see why they would want to bring the Doctor to the forefront
