I lost my way with this after the second series. It kept moving around the schedules and I ended up missing loads so I gave up. I really should get back to it though because I loved it at the time

I just finished the ghost truck episode last night. It wasn't great. I also didnt like Bugs. All the other episodes so far have been great though

I went and got the first 3 box sets last night (for the awesome prices of £23 in total, might I add) so I will restart from this evening.

Castiel owns, that goes without saying.

I wasn't very happy with the series 6 finale though.
Seemed a bit patchwork.

People ranged from loving it to hating it. Was pretty polarizing, that was for damned sure. I loved it, but I'm concerned about the direction they're taking with Cas. Sad

Yeah, he needs to stay as part of the main cast - the four of them work perfectly together IMO

I've finished series 1. Couple of weak episodes but overall I would say it averaged 4/5. Series 2 has, I think, gotten off to a slightly weaker start but I am only about 3 episodes in and I really liked that last one I watched so there's still hope. It's the one with Amber Benson in. It was about time they explored the big huge potential grey area between good and evil, so I hope they revisit it more.

I have a question and I think this is the appropriate place to ask.

One of my friends said I was just like Chuck. They then started chuckling.

What is Chuck and should I be offended?

(If this is spoiler material then I apologise)

I've only seen a little of Chuck, but it didn't seem similar to Supernatural at all to me

Or do you mean you are like Chuck? In which case, wrong thread Tongue

Do you mean the character Chuck from Supernatural, aka Carver Edlund?
Cos if so I think BR will turn up to have a little giggle loop along with me!

(possible spoilers in there if you haven't watched post series 5 yet...)

I think I'm nearing the half way mark of series 2 now and its picked up pace a lot and some of the stories are great. The whole mythology behind the series is being explored more now as apposed to it just being just episodic which is good.

I did mean the writer (Carver Edlund) - and I do have said delusions very often. I like that he is a weird grubby looking man.

I am like that

Doc, it just gets better. S3 is awesome, and S4 is when it turns the corner and introduces some very cool plotlines.

I loved the one I watched last night. It was the one with Number 6 from BSG in it with the ghosts in the woods. That's been on of my favourites so far. The one before it with the Trickster I wasn't so keen on. I appreciate that they were testing out a humourous slant, but it didn't really work. Not that time. I liked the concept of the actual story though

The Trickster episodes are absolute genius later in the run, Doc.
Which series are you onto now?

I just started series 4 last night. Only did the first episode though. Don't like the new Ruby already. She is a bit of a pansy in comparison to the last one.

Series three was a bit hit and miss for me. When the episodes were good, they were brilliant, but when they were bad they really, really sucked. The Trickster Groundhog Day type episode was really good and I enjoyed the finale. That little girl was dead creepy. Kids always are though. The 'Most Haunted' type episode with those two idiots from series 1 was really bad. Again, I commend them for trying out new things but it didn't work. For me at least.

Yeah, Ghostfacers is pretty guff.
Nice concept, but the viewers want Sam & Dean, not bit part guys.

Did you know Ruby v2.0 is Sam's wife IRL?
there's a great gag about it in series 6.

Series 3 is the Dean gets chowed down on finale, yeah?
Epic. (And minging!)

I really, really enjoyed the one I saw last night. It was the BTTF type episode where Dean finds out about his mother. It also had Mitch Pileggi (A.D Skinner from X Files) in it too so it could only ever be awesome! Series 4 has probably got off to the strongest start of any of the seasons so far.

Brilliant episode, and I agree - Skinner is always a plus....except in Knight Rider 2000  Evil
