I'm digging this up because I just read Jasper Fforde's novel 'The Eyre Affair' & whilst reading it I thought he might be able to pull off writing for DW. This was not least because his leading lady, Thursday Next, has a father who worked for the ChronoGuard (a kind of Time Agency) & is now a renegade who lives outside of normal time - having only read this first book so far I don't know what else he gets up to but in this one he is correcting errors in history (the work of revisionists) as well as trying to evade his pursuers. I also love the way he has real people interact with fictional characters.

First time I've read a new (to me) author & had one of those 'ooh you might be able to write Who' moments - shows how big a part of my life this show has become in the last year or so I guess!  Smiley
