SECTION RULES

This section of the forum is to discuss the release of Classic Who Audio Soundtracks and also the Audiobook Classic Novels from the Doctor Who universe.

This section has broken away from 'The Sound of Drums' and will focus on Classic Who, BBC Audio Releases - please keep Big Finish Audio Dramas and SJA/Torchwood Spin off Audio adventures in 'The Sound of Drums'

That said, as with the Sound of Drums, discussions of an audio story, soundtrack or CD release within the Classic Series is completely open. Members who have perhaps not listened to certain audio stories and adventures should be warned that discussions taking place within any given thread may bring spoilers (though as is generally the custom, all Classic Series are generally regarded as in the wider domain anyway so this shouldn't really be an issue)

Each new release will be given its own thread for people to chat about, though if there has been or will be a release that you would like to discuss that does not have it's own thread, then please feel free to start one with any information about the release that you have. If you are starting a new thread, particularly with the full cast audio adventure, be sure to put the Doctor who appears in the story in the thread title, so for example:

William Hartnell: Classic Soundtrack - THE WAR MACHINES

As well as making the place look tidier and easier to moderate, it also makes life easier for members who are looking for something specific to a series or particular Doctor.

Regardless of opinions about a product, there is to be NO attacks made on any merchandisers. If you have had a bad experience while purchasing a product then by all means share it, but leave any offensive comments towards the sellers out of your posts. As well as breaking forum rules this could also lead to legal troubles and a hefty fine for The Doc, which I am sure he would not be happy about.

If you need information about prices or the best places to purchase then feel free to ask within a thread, but you should first check out the merchandisers thread in The Little Shop where a list has been compiled with all the best places to shop for Doctor Who related products.
