I really liked him in Series 1. I know he has his own show now, but I havent seen anything other than those few episodes. He hasnt been in Series 2 so far, and wasnt in series 5. It was funny when he was flirting with Christopher Eccleston and when the droids were giving him a makeover. Quite the cheeky chappy. Was there much fuss about him not being straight when the show was originally on?

I don't know. I do know, that him not being straight is a big part of his character. I don't think it was much of an issue, but I'm in the states so what do I know Tongue

But yeah, he's pretty awesome. The Doctor is really the only person who can keep him in line lol

Are you planning on watching Torchwood after you're done with Doctor Who?

Old JB is looking a bit jagged around the edges in that picture isnt he. Perhaps it seems so because he isnt all suited and booted like usual, but he seems a bit puffy around the face. With more wrinkles than his surgeon usually allows Tongue

It's to keep Who Canon, so people will actually believe he will eventually look like this:

I have to say that apart from Ten, Captain Jack is my favorite.  And yes I agree that in Torchwood he is more serious but it's also because he is in charge of his own team as opposed to following the Doctor around.  I don't think that it would be a good idea to bring him back for 5, just because he had such good chemistry with both Eccleston and Tennant, it would ruing to meet another Doctor.
