I really liked him in Series 1. I know he has his own show now, but I havent seen anything other than those few episodes. He hasnt been in Series 2 so far, and wasnt in series 5. It was funny when he was flirting with Christopher Eccleston and when the droids were giving him a makeover. Quite the cheeky chappy. Was there much fuss about him not being straight when the show was originally on?
I don't know. I do know, that him not being straight is a big part of his character. I don't think it was much of an issue, but I'm in the states so what do I know
But yeah, he's pretty awesome. The Doctor is really the only person who can keep him in line lol
