I personally would like to see the Sycorax, and the Ice Warriors.

Oh, and Captain Jack, does he count?

What about you?

More general sort of ideas than a specific villain but I like the idea of possession (the demons in Supernatural is what I have in mind) and I like gaseous entities but we never seem to get killer gas (that sounds flippant but I genuinely mean it).

I would also like the Ice Warriors.

Massive yes to the Ice Warriors. A million times over. I know through the site that lots of people already want the Dreamlord to return, but I wasnt massively keen on him to be honest so could do without him.

Or maybe the Water Monsters from The Waters of Mars. Could be tied in with the Ice Warriors I guess. I just want to know the who, what, why, where and whens with them, because we still dont really know anything about them.

Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and The Doctor comes to call, everybody lives.

I'd love to see the Kinda again, I think that was the scariest episode from my childhood so I'd love to see them do another 'sequel' to that with the effects they can do now.

I like this idea, a lot Smiley

Vampires.
Actual, proper vampires.
Not haemovores or plasmavores or shimmah!vores or any other kind of vore - I want actual honest to god genuine held-back-with-a-cross-burn-up-in-sunlight vampires.

Let the Doctor go full on Van Helsing (thus fully tying in the links - Peter Cushing was Van Helsing & the cheesy movie Doctor/Grandfather, David Tennant is Peter Vincent in the new version of Fright Night - to vampire fiction.)

Besides, Vampires are cool - Angel/Angelus, Spike, Blade, Darla (yum), Dark Willow (double yum), Alice Cullen (hits floor), Dracula (Christopher Lee), Jerry Dandridge, the list goes on. Except Cedric Diggory, he's a ponce lol.

also, Sea Devils. None of this Silurian style rubbish, I want Jon Pertwee era Sea Devils & Matt Smith having swashbuckling swordfights whilst eating sarnies!  Grin

I'd love to see the Master, but given the trend so far I'm afraid they'll screw it up and ruin him forever. D:

Didn't that already happen in EoT?

He was Emperor Palpatine, not the Master.  Undecided

I know a lot of people were divided on that one. But say what you will of John Simm, he and the scripts brought a LOT of 3Dness to his char that had completely not been there before.

I kinda liked it. He was utterly unhinged and I wish they had done far more with that than what they did.

Agreed.  Less is more, sometimes.  I think Delgado was the definitive one.  So, have him regenerate again and bring in an actor who can give an understated performance.

Delgado wasn't bad and will always hold a special place for me, but JS pwned them all.

A new Master would be brilliant, I've been a big Simm fan since I first saw him in Cracker, but I have to say that I didn't really enjoy his stint in DW Sad

I would love a twist to the tale when he is brought back, I have wondered in the past if River could be a future Master for example, but since S5 I'm hoping for a different direction for her.

Being a Five fan, I'd quite like to see the Mara make a re-appearance.

Given that the Nimon probably won't be dusted off... I would like very much to see a little more of the Autons just not, as per usual, invading Earth. A trip to the Nestine home-world would be most welcome. Indeed a trip to anywhere but Earth would make a pleasant change.

Agreed! The aliens/villains that I'd most like to see are any that are not on Earth, aren't trying to invade or destroy Earth, and preferably have never even heard of the place!

Invasion of Earth settings are getting tired now, I agree. We need more planets

New ones. Properly developed. Not CGI non-entities or random-latex-thing with wacky names, please.

Mr. Magister raised his arms high and spoke the words of conjuration:
‘Hearken to my voice, oh Dark One;
Ancient and awful; supreme in artifice;
Bearer of power; I conjure thee!
Be present here at my command
And truly do my will!
EVA, EVARA, EGABALA!
GAD, GADOAL, GALDINA!’
