I don't know how many seasons had their shooting scripts published, but I can't imagine it was only the one I've got. A few years ago I bought (or was given, I don't really remember anymore) a copy of the shooting scripts from Tom Baker's first season - Robot to Revenge of the Cybermen. An interesting read, especially if you have them in front of you while watching the episodes. Anyone else have any shooting scripts, either from the classic or the new series?

I don't have any personally and you want to hold on to yours because some scripts are very rare even in published form. As far as I know very few were released in this way and most of the scripts that are on the market are passed from collector to collector and come from the actual sets as apposed to being published copies. There are sometimes a couple on Ebay but the ones that are legitimate usually go for very high prices Smiley

I've seen the Christopher Eccleston series around as a book of scripts and others out there for the classic series. I find the fan transcripts of the episodes online for the new series and Torchwood useful for looking up quotes and descriptions of the scenes, since I don't think all of these episodes have been released as script books. These include the http://community.livejournal.com/tw_transcripts/ postings for Torchwood and http://who-transcripts.atspace.com/ for Doctor Who new series 1-4.

I have Christopher Ecclestons series in script form, bought it for a tenner in Tesco about three months ago. It's worth a read.

I've never seen any of the shooting scripts in any of the book shops or anything. Are they hard to come by?

I have the 9th Doctors shooting scripts. Well, I lost it but I'll find it lol. They should totally do them for every season since 05. Including the specials.
