BlueRose and I have decided to make some changes to this section of the forum which will come into effect from Saturday July 9th 2011.

The watchathons will now take place every fourth Saturday at 8pm GMT/3PM EST/12PM DST. The next five dates can be found below along with which episode will be watched on that date. Some dates may change if they fall on the day that a new episode airs but we will always notify you as far in advance as possible. We will keep this list updated as we go along so that you can check back for all the latest dates and episodes.

July 9th - The Empty Child
August 6th - The Doctor Dances
September 3rd - Boom Town
October 1st - Bad Wolf
October 29th - The Parting Of The Ways

If you have any questions then ask them below or drop them in a PM to myself or BR Smiley

I agree this is a much better method. The polls were the fairest way to do it I guess but it took weeks to get through everything. At least now we know ages in advance when each story is

This is better. The polls were fair, but always left a ? over who could join on the selected date. This way people can plan in advance :-)

Unfortunately the dates now mean I can rarely make the events, or at the very least won't be able to until Sept, and that will be the only date I may be able to make it.

This probably means that someone else has to do the forum other than me. Oh well....  Undecided

Hey guys, just to let you know I'm taking this over for the time being. Really looking forward to watching 'The Empty Child' with you all on July 9th  Smiley

Due to popular demand 'The Doctor Dances' will now be watched on Saturday July 16th at 8pm UK time not August 6th as previously stated.

This means other eps will change around too. Keep an eye on this thread for updates  Smiley

Updated schedule for the Long Game watchathons.

August 6th - Boom Town
September 3rd - Bad Wolf
October 1st - The Parting of the Ways

With the exception of the 'Boom Town' watchathon these dates are subject to change so keep checking back for updates  Smiley

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the watchathons for the two remaining episodes of S1 are to be rescheduled. This is because S6 is expected to be on air on both of those dates & we don't want there to be a clash.

Check back here for details of the rescheduled dates soon  Smiley

We're not sure at the moment when it will be back but it will be back at some point. We'll let you know as soon as a decision has been made.

Won't they be covered in TIQ now? I know it's not the same as a watchathon, but I just assumed that's what was happening now

Exterminate is right - this is the case for now. My new(well not so new anymore) job means I can't guarantee I'll be around for the watchathons any more & was part of the reason we chose to add new episodes into TIQ  Smiley

If there is any change to this we'll let you know.

Maybe when we get to them in TIQ we could still do a watchathon for them? I miss our group chats and if we wait for new episodes then it will be nearly a year.

Well we don't have to wait for them to come up in TIQ. If enough people want to do one we can get another organised for in here. Maybe carry on with S1. If anyone wants to do another, drop a post in here and I will get one running Smiley
