Season 20 of Doctor Who began airing on January 3rd 1983 with Arc Of Infinty and ran through to March 16th, ending with The King's Demons before returning for the one off anniversary special The Five Doctors in November. This season saw the departure of Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, while Mark Strickson was brought in as new companion Turlough.

I've gone with The Five Doctors. It wasn't without its flaws and it was a shame we didn't have the full original lineup but Hurndall did a great Job and TB wasn't too missed. The rest of the season was full of ok stories but nothing amazing.

I was very tempted by Snakedance and Enlightenment, but I've gone for Mawdryn Undead - the Brig, the Black Guardian and Turlough as he should be.

It was close for me between The Five Doctors and Snakedance, but TFD was a special so it felt sort of like cheating to choose it, what with it having everything but the kitchen sink, so my vote has gone to Snakedance.

I think the kitchen sink appears in a brief shot behind one of the Cybermen

I wanted to be really clever and go for something left-field here... But I love The Five Doctors sooooooooo much! It is one of my favourite all time stories. I have no objective reason for this, but I do so love it.

I've gone with The Five Doctors. Bit of an obvious choice but I love it.
