Shada was a novelisation of the story of the same name. It was the first novelisation of a Doctor Who TV story since Doctor Who - The Novel of the Film in 1996.

Me too. I've seen a recon but it was a bit naff. I have a feeling (due to some enormous hints dropped in Waterstones a few weeks back) that the other half might be getting it for me for Christmas.
